FAQ
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Open the account menu — in the extension sidebar or on this site — and choose “Manage subscription”. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, and there’s no partial-month clawback. Changed your mind before that date? “Resume subscription” puts it back.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly?+
Yes, without cancelling anything. In the account menu choose “Switch to yearly billing”: we show exactly what you’ll be charged today — the unused part of the month you’ve already paid for is credited against it — and what the yearly renewal will cost. Moving back from yearly to monthly is handled by email, since the year is already paid for.
What’s the money-back policy?+

What about videos with no captions?+
Those we can’t turn into text at all, on any plan — no transcript and no summary. Everything here is built from the video’s caption track, and running speech recognition on the videos without one costs real money per minute of audio; we’d rather not put that on everyone’s price before anyone has asked for it. Most videos do have captions, auto-generated ones included. If you keep hitting videos that don’t, write to us and say so.
What exactly are the Free limits?+
Transcripts: 10 a day on this site, unlimited in the extension — free on both plans. Summaries: 1 a day without an account, 3 a day (20 a month) once you sign in with Google. Chat: 3 questions a day, 15 a month. Transcript Pro: 30 minutes of video a month — it is metered by length, because that is what it costs us. We print the numbers rather than saying “unlimited” and quietly capping you.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
Credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus local methods in many countries — handled by Paddle, our payment provider. Paddle is the merchant of record, so VAT and sales tax are calculated and remitted for you.
Do I need the extension to pay?+
